Fuel/air mixture. The last thing is the fuel/air mixture. You could be getting too much or too little of either. If the scooter has been sitting for a while, it's likely the gas has evaporated and left a bunch of sludgy deposits. Ask the seller when it last ran. If it's been more than ~3 months, you should clean out the fuel system and the carb. Disconnect the fuel line and drain the old gas. I've been able to burn old gas with no problem by using it in my truck. Add fresh fuel and make sure it flows smoothly through the petcock (on the bottom of the fuel tank). If the petcock is controlled by vacuum, you'll have to draw a vacuum on the vacuum line in order for fuel to flow. The vacuum line will be the smaller line on the petcock. Do you get a good, steady flow of gas? If so, good. If not you will have to remove the petcock and clean it. The gas flow should stop when you release the vacuum.

The speedo doesn't work. Most of the time this is due to a broken speedometer cable. And most of the time, the speedo cable breaks 5-6 inches from its connection at the front wheel. It tends to break here because of the bend in the cable and the exposure to the elements (water and dirt) near the front wheel. The good news is that new speedo cables are cheap (usually under $20) and are not difficult to replace.

That is why we can notice the recent increase of interest towards electric scooters. The advantage over owning a scooter against any other vehicles like SUV and MPV is obvious. Its price is dirt cheap compared to that of a car. Plus, it's way more easier to be maintained due to its lightweight nature.
If your main goal is to reach your destination in the fastest speed, then, it will be a very good idea to own an Electric Scooter. The size of an Electric Scooter allow its rider to ride thru traffic jam with a breeze and this enable them to reach their destination faster than a car or cab would take during any traffic jam. If you're a thrill seeker, or simply always on the move, the varying speed feature that an Electric Scooter have definitely is something to look forward to.
It's cool to have an Electric Scooter, but due to the fact that it's not widely accepted as a mean of vehicle, the price of an Electric Scooter is still a little more expensive compared to a normal gas-powered scooter. But the problem with Electric Scooter is, it require its battery to be constantly being charged. It's literally useless without electricity. But, even gas price will increase, so if you think about it, it's really not a big deal.
Let's just hope that the price of this funky scooter to decrease sooner so that we can see more people riding Electric Scooter.
